The 11th Annual Wandering Words Sidewalk Poetry Competition opens on April 1, 2026.
Entries will be accepted through April 30, 2026.
In celebration of poetry month, the Muscatine County Arts Council is proud to present “Serenity” by Twyla Woodward, one of the five winners of the 2025 poetry contest. On this lovely day, take a walk through the Muscatine Arboretum off Harmony Lane and stop along the path near the labyrinth to read Twyla’s beautiful lullaby to her daughter, Tia.
